Returns & Right of Withdrawal
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal on everything you buy from us. Here's exactly how it works — and who pays for what.
Your 14-day right (angrerett)
Under the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act and EU Directive 2011/83/EU, you can cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, no reason needed. The clock starts the day after the goods are delivered.
How to return
Email halla@midhats.no with your order number to start a return. You can use the standard withdrawal form (angreskjema) we attach to your order-confirmation email, or tell us in any other clear statement. We'll send instructions. Send the item back within 14 days of telling us you're withdrawing.
Who pays return postage
You do. Return shipping is paid by the customer. We refund the price of the item plus the standard outbound shipping you originally paid — but the cost of sending it back to us is yours.
Condition of the item
You may examine and try the item on as you would in a shop. If it's handled more than that and loses value, we may deduct that reduction in value from your refund — but your right to withdraw and be refunded still stands.
Refunds
We refund within 14 days of receiving your notice of withdrawal, to your original payment method. We may hold the refund until we've received the item back, or you've shown proof that you've sent it.
Faulty or wrong items
If something arrives defective, damaged, or just isn't what you ordered, that's on us — we'll replace it or refund it in full, return postage included. (Separate from the right of withdrawal above.)
